VIDEO: Scrumptious Indian Street Food Tour at Varanasi + Sarnath

During my final day at Varanasi we went to an excursion trying all of the renowned dishes of Varanasi. We began the day by seeing a few of the ghats for sunrise. It was extremely quiet and spiritual experience, a necessity once.

Our first stop at our Indian Food Tour was Malai. This is yogurt, similar to a creamy milk cream. It is sweet and delicious!

Stop number two was Puri Kachori, potatoes, tomato and a few more vegetable dish. You make use of a bread to eat it and it is a skillet. Additionally, we had Jalebi a dough that is dipped in sugar that was condensed. To refresh our sanity some Paan tried!

We took a food break and headed to Sarnath, the birthplace of Buddhism. The park at Sarnath is in which the Buddhist Sangha came by means of Kondanna’s enlightenment, and where Gautama Buddha taught the Dhamma.

We headed back to end our Indian Street Food excursion. We stopped at Deena Chat shop to test Golgappas four meals, Aloo Tikki, Tomato Chaat and Chura Matar. They were all so good, but my favorite was Chura Matar!
